Amazon Electronics Ca$h Trade-In

Instead of throwing away your electronics, what better option than to “recycle” them with Amazon and get cash back? What is the Amazon Trade-in Program? The Amazon Trade-In Program allows you to receive an Amazon.com Gift Card in exchange for sending your eligible items to us or a merchant. You can trade products in the Electronics, Books, Video Games (media and hardware), and Movies & TV categories. To find eligible items, you can visit the Trade-In stores listed below and search by product title, ISBN, or specific keywords such as a product model number or manufacturer: Electronics Store, Movies & TV Trade-In Store, Textbooks Trade-In Store, Video Games Trade-In Store and Central Trade-In Store. The item you wish to trade in must match the exact version displayed in the Trade-In search results or on the product page on Amazon.com. You can also look for details on the product by clicking on the product title, which will take you to the product detail page. The trade-in program is being constantly updated with new titles, so check back regularly.

Is there a maximum number of items I can trade in? Each individual trade-in shipment is limited to a total value of up to $750. If you want to trade in items with a total value greater than $750, you’ll need to make multiple trade-in shipments. Also, you can only trade in up to a quantity of 2 identical items within any 3 month period. For example, if you sent in one copy of a video game on January 1st and sent one more copy of the same video game before March 31st, you’ll be eligible to trade-in the third copy on April 1st. Subject to the Trade-In Program Terms and Conditions, you will receive the trade-in price listed in the Trade-in Stores via automatic Amazon.com Gift Card deposits into your account. Your items must be postmarked within 7 calendar days of submission and meet or exceed the product eligibility criteria. Your items will be verified by us or the merchant upon receipt.

During the trade-in submission process you will be able to choose the condition of your item. The condition description allows you to review the criteria specific to the condition you select. If you chose a lower condition (e.g. Good) for your item and upon inspection we considered it to be in a better condition (e.g. Like New), you will be paid the corresponding higher amount. If you chose a better condition (e.g. Like New) for your item and upon inspection we considered it to be in a lower condition (e.g. Good), you will be paid the corresponding lower amount. By selecting a return option when submitting your trade-in, you can also decide to receive your item back instead of being paid a lower amount. You can’t change your trade-in after it has been submitted. However, you can cancel and re-submit another trade-in. The packages you sent can be tracked anytime in Your Trade-in Account at http://www.amazon.com/tradeinaccount. Once your item is received and verified by us or the merchant, you will receive an e-mail notification within 2 business days informing you whether your items were accepted or rejected. If your trade-in is accepted by us or the merchant, an Amazon.com Gift Card for the quoted amount will appear in your Amazon.com account within 2 business days of receipt. Your gift card is automatically added to the available balance in your account.
